Australasian All Hazards Symbology Project Resource Kit available for testing (16 September 2008)

ANZLIC - The Spatial Information Council, in association with the Intergovernmental Committee on Surveying and Mapping (ICSM) want to encourage consistency in how All-Hazards events are depicted on maps and aim to develop a consistent Australasian All-Hazard symbology set and have it adopted by emergency management agencies across Australia and New Zealand.

The Emergency Management Spatial Information Network of Australia (EMSINA) has defined a process to test and report on the suitability of the framework and symbols detailed in the final Australasian All Hazards Symbology Project final report.
